The 31st running of the Chalfont Challenge 5K took place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the center of Chalfont with 246 runners this year. The 5K would not be successful without the help of many volunteers, for which the Borough is very grateful. We’d also like to especially thank Marilyn Jacobson, the 5K race director and a Bucks 5K Series volunteer, who has given countless hours of her time over the span of many years along with other dedicated volunteers, too many to name. The Borough is in need of new volunteers to keep this event going, so feel free to contact the Borough office any time and we’ll get you on a volunteer contact list for the 2024 race. The Borough wants to also thank the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, the Chalfont Fire Company and the Borough’s Public Works crew and staff, and all of the amazing sponsors that generously donated so that Chalfont’s parks and recreation areas would benefit.
