In accordance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements, Chalfont Borough has prepared a revised Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) and a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Plan. The plans detail the scheduled implementation of a series of Best Management Practices (BMP’s) necessary for the reduction of pollutants (sediment and/or nutrients) in the waterways of the municipality. Chalfont Borough is required to reduce pollutants to the Neshaminy Creek watershed.

The PRP and TMDL Plan are available for review and public comment at the Chalfont Borough Hall at 40 North Main Street, Chalfont, PA 18914 on or about January 14 2019, for a 30 day comment period. Public comment should be submitted, in writing, to Chalfont Borough no later than February 14, 2019.
