Starting Monday October 17th and ending Friday October 21st the Covered Bridge on Keeley Avenue in New Britain Borough will be closed for bridge repairs. We expect this closure to cause issues for traffic flow in and around Chalfont Borough. Additionally, construction of storm water facilities at Park Avenue and N. All groups, families, scouts, and individuals are encouraged to build a scarecrow. We will provide frames, bags for heads, and straw for stuffing—you provide the creativity. Our Public Works Department will install the scarecrows on the street light poles on main Street and Butler Avenue in time for Halloween.
